GTS Technology is seeking an AV Media Specialist to provide hands-on support for classroom, conference room, and event AV technology. This role will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support audio/visual equipment while providing excellent customer service to end users.
Responsibilities

Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, speakers, and control systems.
Set up and provide onsite support for meetings, presentations, and campus events.
Troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Manage support tickets through ServiceNow and escalate complex issues as needed.
Support audio/video recording, editing, and production.
Maintain equipment inventory, documentation, and technical procedures.
Assist with AV system quality checks and equipment maintenance.
Provide occasional after-hours support for scheduled events.
Requirements

Associate's degree in communications, multimedia, media production, or related field OR equivalent experience/training.
2+ year of AV support, audio/video production, multimedia, or related experience.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
Ability to create technical documentation and support materials.
Preferred

2+ years of AV experience.
Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Dante, Allen & Heath/SQ5, or similar AV technologies.
Experience with audio/video recording and editing.
Experience supporting AV in a higher education, corporate, or event environment.
