Emergency Communications Specialist (911 Dispatcher)

Sumter County is seeking a 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator to receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch needed units, and maintain accurate call records. The role requires calm, clear communication and the ability to work quickly within evolving procedures.
You will coordinate with Fire, EMS, Animal Services, and after-hour government support, follow SOPs, stay current with dispatch technologies, and meet performance SLAs.
