The Senior Product Development Associate will work with Senior Leadership of the Product development team to coordinate the development and execution of all product categories of the collection from Design through pre-production stage.

Job Duties
Works within the team to develop seasonal collections from initial design concept through pre-production handoff.
Meets company calendar deadlines and supports the timely execution of seasonal development milestones.
Communicates key information regarding raw materials, finished products, and garment construction to Design, Senior Product Development Leadership, and Pre-Production teams as needed to minimize potential production issues and delays.
Independently manages and owns the product development process alongside Senior Product Development Leadership, from initial design concept through finished product.
Launches, tests, and obtains Design approvals for fabrics, lab dips, trims, raw materials, and denim wash development.
Maintains, updates, and reviews product development WIP charts daily throughout the seasonal process to ensure the accuracy of all relevant information and status updates.

Required Experience
Product Development:
5-7 years of applicable experience.
Proven experience in garment construction across hard wovens, soft wovens, denim, leather goods, and cut-and-sew knits.
Knowledge of denim wash and garment dye PFD/RFD goods, with experience communicating with laundries and dye houses.
Knowledge of fabric and trim development, as well as sourcing opportunities across domestic, European, and Asian markets.
Existing PLM/PDM experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Proficiency in garment costing, with the ability to recommend solution based improvements to achieve target margins.
Knowledge of Time & Action and production calendars, with demonstrated experience meeting deadlines across multiple seasons and overlapping collections.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with internal cross-functional teams, vendors, mills, factories, pattern makers, sample sewing rooms, laundries, and dye houses.
