Marketing Communications Coordinator

We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support an important U.S. Air Force mission in the Dayton area.

This role is ideal for someone who combines digital marketing, multimedia, graphic design, communications, and visual storytelling and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a professional government environment.

Responsibilities

Create, design, and edit digital signage and marketing materials

Provide digital marketing and communications consultation

Develop multimedia content, including photography and video

Apply visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and layout principles

Work collaboratively with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, SMEs, and communications professionals

Support strategic communications and marketing initiatives

Maintain and organize digital content libraries

Assist with AV/computer equipment inventory, ordering, database entry, and lifecycle management

Develop continuity documents, SOPs, and other communications materials

Ensure deliverables comply with applicable DoD/AFRL branding and communication requirements

Support special projects, eLearning initiatives, symposiums, and educational communications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field

3+ years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, communications, or educational marketing

Experience collaborating with multimedia professionals

Experience with digital signage and understanding of screen ratios, motion graphics, and content duration

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud , particularly Illustrator and/or InDesign

Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, and layout

DoD, U.S. Air Force, AFRL, or federal communications experience

Familiarity with DoD branding and communication policies, including The Tongue and Quill
