Position Overview The Anchor/Reporter will anchor daily live newscasts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of news writing and journalism standards, the ability to ad-lib effectively during breaking news situations, and the capacity to collaborate seamlessly with writers and producers.
Compensation $65,000 – 100,000 dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities Write clear, accurate, fact-based, and unbiased television news scripts in proper broadcast style
Maintain a thorough and current understanding of national and international events
Collaborate effectively with producers, writers, and production staff
Perform confidently on air, including during live and breaking news coverage
Training on ENPS is provided. Part-time shifts are available.
Qualifications Excellent command of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and broadcast writing style
Willingness and availability to work weekends and overnight shifts
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Preferred: Prior experience writing television news scripts
Preferred: Experience writing scripts in ENPS
