Responsibilities
Kforce's client in Saint Charles, MO is adding an IT Communications & Training Specialist to support key technology and business transformation initiatives. Summary: This person will create engaging communications and training materials that help employees adopt new systems, processes, and organizational changes. Working closely with business analysts, project managers, and system owners, you will translate complex concepts into user-friendly resources that drive adoption and engagement.
Create and publish announcements, newsletters, FAQs, training guides, and project updates
Partner with project teams to develop communication plans supporting system implementations and process changes
Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with branding standards
Develop and maintain web content
Create visual assets that improve understanding and engagement
Support change management efforts that help users adopt new technologies and workflows
Training & Content Development
Develop job aids, training guides, process documentation, and tutorials
Convert technical documentation into user-friendly learning materials
Coordinate and deliver end-user training sessions
Maintain training resources and keep content current
Gather feedback and continuously improve training materials
Technical Writing & Documentation
Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and process documentation
Document system functionality, workflows, and business processes
Develop support content that improves the user experience and reduces support requests
Collaboration & Project Support
Support cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives
Partner with project managers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to identify communication and training needs
Participate in project meetings to stay informed on upcoming changes and priorities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Instructional Design, Technical Writing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in communications, technical writing, training development, instructional design, or a similar role
Experience creating web-based content and working within content management systems
Strong ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Portfolio or work samples will be requested during the interview process
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
Experience developing training programs and learning materials
Exposure to enterprise platforms such as LMS, CRM, ERP, business intelligence, or workflow systems
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
