OMD Associate Director, Video Investment
The Associate Director of Video Investment has mastered all of the skills of the Supervisor role, and is additionally responsible for managerial input and decision making, as well as more senior client and vendor relationships. The Associate Director will work with the Client Investment Lead in setting priorities, allocating responsibility and measuring performance of the Video Investment team. Building upon the Supervisor role with regard to the interpretation of strategy through a video lens, the Associate Director is also called upon to further develop the client and media owner relationships that will ultimately serve to enhance all aspects of the Investment team's deliverables.
Responsibilities
Managerial Rigor & A Relationship Building Focus
Without losing sight of ongoing client deliverables, the Associate Director is building upon their knowledge base by broadening and strengthening their business relationships beyond OMD
Along with Client Investment Lead, creates and maintains team dynamics with a focus on learning and innovation
Actively ensures strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation Relationship & Knowledge Cultivator
Proactively explore and recommend ways to further service and grow client relationships
Along with Client Investment Lead, manages large scale partner relationships to foresee future needs and provide client support
Provide thought leadership for the junior team in the areas of video marketing and technology Analytical Thinker
Create and articulate clear performance metrics and develop associated reports that measure KPIs
Analyze historical and current campaign results to optimize learning and ensure continuous improvement
Process and analyze competitive media activity in the marketplace Team Focused
Oversee the buying & implementation of Video campaigns, coordinating internal resource, setting best practice and working on planning frameworks
Qualifications
Knowledge of the principles of advertising, marketing and media (minimum of 5 years of industry experience)
Knowledge of the dynamics of media
how each media element performs alone, how they perform together, and how they are constantly changing
Understanding of the skills and functions of the Investment side of the business, as well as the Strategic Business Units' competencies
Ability to foster a strong, cohesive working team, providing leadership and instruction
Understanding of marketplace dynamics, working with Client Investment Lead to formulate marketplace strategies
Strong overall communication skills with a focus on presentation excellence
