Description
Overview We're hiring a Business Development professional to own commercial relationships on both sides of our B2B SaaS lead-generation platform: acquiring and managing suppliers, and closing buyer leads generated by marketing.
This is a full commercial ownership role, you'll source, pitch, and close suppliers into signed agreements on the platform end-to-end, and you'll also work qualified buyer leads at the bottom of the funnel through to close.
Key Responsibilities Supplier side
Identify, pitch, and close suppliers onto the platform, owning the relationship from first contact through signed agreement
Own the rate card: propose, negotiate, and finalize commercial terms with suppliers
Manage prepaid credit arrangements and invoicing with signed suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely collection
Manage the trial clock for each supplier, tracking trial periods and driving timely conversion to paid terms
Lead Phase 1 lead-finding: source, qualify, and prioritize a pipeline of prospective suppliers
Run outbound and inbound calls to progress supplier conversations, ending in a signed, closed deal
Buyer side
Work qualified buyer leads handed off from marketing at the bottom of the funnel, closing them into signed/paying customers
Own the buyer conversation from marketing handoff through close, coordinating on messaging and timing with the marketing team
Cross-functional
Coordinate with Legal on supplier agreements and ensure consent/contract terms are properly executed
Keep the Project Manager and Head of Product updated on pipeline status (supplier and buyer side), signed suppliers, closed buyers, and blockers
Requirements
What We’re Looking For Proven track record in B2B business development, sales, or partnerships, with direct experience personally closing deals, negotiating commercial and rate terms, and managing accounts from first conversation through signature and beyond—not simply generating leads or booking meetings.
Comfortable owning commercial negotiations end-to-end, including pricing, rate cards, and contract terms.
Experience managing invoicing, prepaid credit arrangements, or collections as part of an ongoing client or supplier relationship.
Direct experience in B2B SaaS, lead-generation platforms, and two-sided marketplace models.
Experience selling and negotiating with supplier-side decision-makers such as founders, owner-operators, and heads of sales or business development.
Experience closing buyer-side decision-makers such as SMB buyers or heads of growth or operations.
Experience coordinating with Legal on contract terms.
Native English speaker, or native-level fluency, with excellent verbal and written communication.
Must be based in the United States and available to work US business hours.
Benefits
Fully remote. No office, no commute, just you, the operating system, and wherever you do your best work.
