Technical Writer - Irving, TXLocation: Irving, TX – 75038Project Duration: 4 months of contractPay Rate: $32.00 per hour on W2Visio software familiarity requiredDuties:The Technical Writer III will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining technical processes and procedures related to trade compliance and manufacturing operations.This role will work closely with stakeholders to map current and future-state processes, create detailed process documentation, and translate complex manufacturing and compliance concepts into clear, user-friendly materials.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an evolving environment and capable of gathering information from multiple sources to support business process improvements.Experience:4 to 6 years of technical writing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Key Skills:Technical writing and process documentationProcess mapping and workflow developmentStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively in ambiguous or changing environmentsAdvanced MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointVisio proficiency for process flow creationManufacturing industry experienceStrong communication and stakeholder collaboration skillsPreferred Experience:Supply chain operations experienceOracle and/or ADMS system knowledgeProject management experienceLean Six Sigma knowledge or certificationTrade compliance experienceEducation:Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree requiredStrong computer proficiency and project management skills preferredAbout generis tek: generis tek is a boutique IT/professional staffing based in Chicago land.
