Job Summary: The Public Radio Membership Officer is responsible for supporting Troy Public Radio’s fundraising efforts by working with members of the station’s sustaining member program; assisting in planning the station’s regular fund drives and mail campaigns; and directly responsible for overseeing the fund drive call center.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Related work experience
Experience working with clients and/or customers to provide friendly service and quickly resolve issues
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well on projects both with a team and individually
Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with or overseeing a membership program or client based service
Knowledge and familiarity with public radio and its mission
Experience working as a fundraiser or development officer
Experience working with a non-profit
Experience working with marketing platforms such as: Mailchimp, Buffer, or related applications
Experience working with Raiser’s Edge
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?: Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
Work Hours: Maximum of 19 hours per week
