Technical Editor LCATJoin the Nalley Consulting team as a Technical Editor at DIA HQ. Position: Technical Editor LCAT : Mid Location : DIA HQ Shift : NORequired education / experience: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience or 7 years of relevant experience. Required clearance: TS/SCI with active CI poly or willingness to take CI poly.Basic Qualifications:2+ years of experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organizationKnowledge of the intelligence communityAbility to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracyExperience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products.Position Description:Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed.About Nalley Consulting:Nalley Consulting is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business working with prime partners to staff Department of Defense and Intelligence Community positions.
