Position: Talent/Influencer Manager
Reports To: Director of Creative Strategy and President & CEO
Scope of Position: Responsible for managing successful placements of client products with social media influencers, celebrities and VIPs. Oversees the work of the Talent Coordinator as it pertains to talent management activities.
Primary Duties:
Identify and source appropriate social media influencers, celebrities and VIP profiles in relation to client products.
Build and maintain relationships with social media influencers, celebrities, stylists, agents and VIP profiles.
Liaise with clients/client representatives for placement approval.
Manage outreach and negotiation with social media influencers, celebrities and VIP or representatives in order to offer client products and partnership opportunities.
Monitor the placement process.
Maintain the placement record and reporting to the client.
Supervise and collaborate with the Talent Coordinator.
Secondary Duties:
Training the Talent Coordinator.
Collaborating with team members in organization of client events.
Collaborating with client and team members on client events (photoshoots, parties, presentations, shows, etc.)
Updating the @modeworld Instagram account.
Administrative duties related to working in a collegial small office (ex. Answering phones, shipping orders, taking out trash, and any other tasks assigned by the Director.)
Key Skills:
Ability to successfully source appropriate social media influencers, celebrities and VIP profiles in relation to client products.
Effectively fulfill agreed client product placements goals.
Maintain position as a trusted resource for clients.
Excellent communication skills: presentation, verbal and written.
Ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues, vendors, clients and other professional contacts.
Knowledge and passion for the media, including social media.
Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation. Customer service focus. Ability to take and follow direction from supervisors.
Strength in working efficiently in a high-volume, deadline driven environment.
Proven experience in taking initiative and working independently when required.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
Skilled in managing multiple projects and portfolios and managing projects through to completion. Solid knowledge of common computer applications, including Google Workspace.
Aptitude for effective, deep-dive internet research.
