Digital Content Creator

SPEEDXMEDIA · Multiple locations ·

Pay:
45.000 - 56.000
Job type:
Full Time

At SPEEDXMEDIA, we build and scale brands through integrated marketing, advertising, creative, and production. Strategy, media, content, and execution live under one roof, allowing us to move quickly, test ideas, and create work that actually performs.

We work with brands across industries and are building a team of people who are creative, curious, culturally aware, and excited about making things, not just talking about making them.

Role Description
SPEEDXMEDIA is looking for a

Digital Content Creator

who is deeply plugged into internet culture, social media trends, and the way people actually consume content online.

This is an idea-first, hands-on creative role. We want someone who can spot a trend before it feels overdone, turn a loose idea into a strong concept, shoot the content, edit it, write the caption, and get it published.

You should understand what makes someone stop scrolling, why certain formats work on different platforms, and how brands can participate in culture without feeling forced or three weeks late.

You will create content for SPEEDXMEDIA as well as client brands, working closely with our creative, marketing, production, and strategy teams.

This is a full-time, on-site position in the Los Angeles area.

What You'll Do

Develop original, social-first content ideas for SPEEDXMEDIA and our clients

Stay constantly dialed into emerging trends, memes, creators, sounds, formats, platform features, and broader internet culture

Turn trends into brand-relevant concepts rather than simply copying what everyone else is doing

Concept, shoot, edit, caption, and publish short-form content from start to finish

Create content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms

Film content using phones, cameras, and lightweight production setups depending on the concept

Edit short-form video with strong pacing, hooks, captions, transitions, sound, and platform-native creative techniques

Write social copy, hooks, headlines, and captions that feel natural to each platform

Work with team members, clients, talent, and leadership to capture content

Adapt one creative idea into multiple pieces of content and platform-specific variations

Participate in brainstorming sessions and consistently bring new concepts to the table

Manage content from concept through publication without requiring constant direction

Maintain content calendars and ensure approved content is published accurately and on time

Review performance data to understand what is working and use those insights to improve future creative

Experiment constantly with new formats, creative approaches, tools, and platforms

Who We're Looking For
You are someone who naturally notices what is happening online.

You probably send people TikToks before they have seen them, understand why certain creators are suddenly everywhere, and can immediately think of three ways a brand could turn a cultural moment into content.

Just as importantly, you can actually execute the idea.

You are comfortable picking up a phone or camera, directing a quick shoot, opening an editing platform, building the final piece, and publishing it.

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly creative and constantly generating new ideas

Deeply familiar with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms

Strong at short-form video editing and understands pacing, hooks, retention, and storytelling

Comfortable shooting and producing their own content

Fluent in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms

Able to identify trends early and determine which ones actually make sense for a brand

Strong at writing short-form social copy and captions

Comfortable working quickly and producing a meaningful volume of content

Able to take an idea from concept to published post independently

Collaborative, organized, and comfortable working across multiple brands and projects

Curious about AI, emerging creative technology, and new ways of producing content

Experience

2+ years of hands-on experience creating social or digital content for a brand, agency, media company, creator, or similar environment preferred

A portfolio or social accounts demonstrating strong short-form content creation and editing ability is required

Agency experience is helpful but not required

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, or a related field is welcome but not required. Strong work matters more to us than the name of your degree.

What Will Make You Stand Out

You have grown or meaningfully contributed to a social account

You can show us content you personally conceptualized, filmed, edited, and published

You understand internet culture beyond following a list of trending sounds

You have strong creative instincts and opinions about what makes content good

You are comfortable appearing on camera when a concept calls for it

You have experience working with creators, influencers, or talent

You experiment with AI tools and emerging creative technology

You have examples of content that generated meaningful engagement, reach, or audience growth

We care much more about seeing what you can create than reading a perfectly formatted résumé.

Salary $4K based on experience, with both W-2 and 1099 options available.
