Audio/Visual TechnicianEdgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an Audio/Visual technician with a background in Information technology and audio/video type systems and configurations to support a major national laboratory.The Audio/Visual team works to design, install, maintain, and support enterprise video collaboration and conference rooms, which provide secure and reliable video and audio conferencing with screen-sharing capabilities in both classified and unclassified environments. Provide video production and editing support in both classified and unclassified environments with onsite Auditorium live event support. In addition, the team installs hardware and software to conference rooms across the laboratory.ResponsibilitiesEnd user support and setup of Videoconferences and Videoconference equipmentUnclassified and Classified Videoconference event scheduling and coordination supportSecure Videoconference bridge and meeting setup support within the DOE/NNSA Enterprise Secure Network and DoD Secure Network Environments.Videoconference and Microsoft Teams system training supportVideoconference and presentation systems planning, design and installation for all Classified and Unclassified environments and product lines.Videoconference and AV Systems installation, support and maintenanceSet up and breakdown for video streaming eventsOperate production equipment in large auditorium environment(camera, mic, mixer, etc.)Set up network connectionUse DAs to split signalsOperate computer field recordersAssist with equipment updates, configuration, and maintenanceSet up and breakdown for video streaming events when neededOperate production equipment (camera, mic, mixer, etc.) in various onsite auditoriumsDirectly interact with customers during live streaming and auditorium events, and large VTC and Teams meetingsWork effectively with team members and independently with minimal supervisionSecure Videoconference bridge and meeting setup support within the DOE/NNSA Enterprise Secure Network and DoD Secure Network Environments.Cisco and Polycom Videoconference System and Microsoft Teams system installation and training supportSupport Live Events, Video Production, Recording and Presentation Streaming in both Auditorium and Conference room Environments.QualificationsHigh School Degree plus minimum 1 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.Must have an Active DOE Security Clearance.U.S. Citizenship is required.
