This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, website design, responsive design, branding, and developer-ready design handoff .

As a Web Designer / UI Designer, you will design unique logos, brand guides, website mockups, wireframes, design systems, vector icons, and related graphics for desktop and mobile experiences. You will collaborate with Digital Producers, copywriters, SEO team members, developers, and other teams to create designs that support client goals while balancing usability, visual quality, accessibility, and performance needs.

Web Designer Responsibilities
As a Web Designer / UI Designer, your duties will include:

Designing unique, client-specific logos, brand guides, and design systems from scratch

Designing wireframes, website mockups, and related graphics for desktop and mobile devices

Creating designs based on creative briefs, client goals, and supporting project materials

Drawing vector icons and other illustrations

Attending and participating in client meetings

Working with Digital Producers to plan how to achieve client goals through creative, effective, and appropriate design

Collaborating with copywriters, SEO team members, developers, and other teams to establish the project vision

Analyzing tradeoffs between usability, visual design, accessibility, and performance needs

Preparing clean, organized design files for proper handoff to developers

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

Mastery of Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

Experience with Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro

Passion for design and strong understanding of core design concepts and fundamentals

Familiarity with web accessibility requirements

Desire to continue learning and stay current with the design industry

Experience presenting materials to clients professionally

Ability to perform well under pressure and meet short deadlines

Excellent written and spoken English skills

Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time

Reliable remote workstation, including a fast computer, microphone, speakers, reliable internet, and reliable power

Preferred Skills
The following experience is preferred but not required:

Knowledge of HTML and CSS, including how development limitations apply to web design

Experience with project tools such as Basecamp and Google Docs

Experience creating design systems, brand guides, wireframes, and developer-ready design files

Experience collaborating with developers, SEO teams, copywriters, and digital project teams

Compensation
For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado , the starting base pay for this position ranges from $17 to $35 per hour . Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
