Position Summary

The Hartford Wolf Pack is seeking a talented, creative, and highly motivated game night

Team Photographer

to capture the energy, excitement, personalities, and community impact of the organization. The Team Photographer will be responsible for creating high-quality photography for all home games. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of sports photography, excellent instincts for capturing compelling moments, and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional sports environment. This position will play an important role in developing the Wolf Pack's visual identity and providing photography that can be used across social media, digital platforms, marketing materials, public relations, advertising, sponsorship activations, and archival purposes.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 - $20.00.

About the Venue

PeoplesBank Arena

is also home to the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, the primary developmental affiliate of the New York Rangers. PeoplesBank Arena entertains millions of visitors annually with a variety of concerts, family shows, and ice-skating spectaculars throughout the season. The venue has played host to an extraordinary roster of world-renowned artists, including Sabrina Carpenter, Andrea Bocelli, Bad Bunny, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Pearl Jam, and many others.

Responsibilities

Photograph all aspects of Hartford Wolf Pack home games, including pregame, in-game, and postgame activities.
Upload images from games to Flickr that meet league requirements.
Capture high-quality game action, player portraits, celebrations, fan experiences, promotional activities, and behind-the-scenes moments.
Photograph theme nights, promotional events, giveaways, special events, and fan engagement activities.
Edit photos to be used across Wolf Pack digital platforms and creative assets
Collaborate with the creative, social, and video team for assigned projects.
Capture photography for corporate partners and sponsorship activations as needed.
Assist with player headshots, team portraits, promotional photography, and other organizational photos.
Identify and capture unique, creative images that tell the story of the Wolf Pack and its players.
Work closely with the Marketing, social media, Public Relations, Community Relations, Sales, and Game Operations departments to fulfill photography needs.
Provide timely photography for social media and digital platforms, particularly during and immediately following games and events.
Edit, color-correct, crop, and organize photographs for distribution and publication.
Maintain an organized digital photo archive and ensure images are properly labeled, categorized, and stored.
Select and deliver the strongest images from games and events in a timely manner.
Qualifications

Previous experience photographing professional, collegiate, amateur, or youth sports preferred.
Strong knowledge of sports photography techniques and equipment.
Demonstrated ability to capture fast-moving sports action in challenging lighting conditions.
Proficiency with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or comparable photo-editing software.
Strong understanding of digital photography, file management, image organization, and editing workflows.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule based on the team's game and event calendar.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced sports environment.
