Web Copywriter Job at Virtual Vocations Inc in New York

To support diabetes education initiatives, the part-time Web Copywriter will draft, edit, and optimize web content remotely, focusing on enhancing user engagement and website performance over a 7-month contract with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities:

Develop and maintain content for the Learning Center, including drafting new articles and updating existing educational materials
Optimize website content to improve clarity, readability, and engagement, implementing SEO recommendations as needed
Support new website development by drafting content based on stakeholder requirements and workshop outputs

Required qualifications:

Proven experience writing web copy for medical devices, with a focus on diabetes preferred
Portfolio showcasing writing samples relevant to web copy and content development
Experience with website optimization strategies and SEO best practices
Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours
Experience with global website launches is a plus
