The Role
What You'll Own

Designing two to three distinct set looks that each serve a different content format.

Sourcing furniture, props, and materials (ideally with NYC vendor relationships).

Overseeing set build and installation.

Dressing and styling each set for camera — not just furniture placement but texture, layering, and on-camera feel.

Coordinating with our DP/cinematographer on how each set reads under studio lighting.

Set Directions We're Working With

A warm, lived-in conversational set (cozy, homey, layered).

A clean structured set (classroom or educational feel).

Potentially a third more minimal
eutral set.

What We're Looking For

Experience designing sets specifically for on-camera content — digital media, streaming, branded content, or broadcast.

Strong sourcing instincts and vendor relationships in NYC.

An eye for how sets read on camera, not just how they look in person.

Ability to work within a budget and make smart creative decisions with constraints.

Someone collaborative who can take creative direction and also bring their own ideas.
