This role supports both client and agency needs across brand development, campaigns and marketing materials.About the RoleThe Graphic Designer will work closely with creative, account, and business development teams in a fast-moving agency environment where strong design judgment, collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to move quickly matter.This position is hybrid and is based in Alexandria, VA. Expected in-office days are Mondays and Wednesdays. Additional in-person days may occasionally be required for quarterly collaboration days and other in-person business activities as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop creative concepts and visual solutions aligned with audience, brand, and communications objectivesDesign across a wide range of formats, including presentations, proposals, reports, infographics, social content, digital toolkits, websites and microsites, brochures, event materials, campaign identities, and promotional materialsTranslate complex information and data into clear, engaging visual storiesCombine typography, photography, illustration, data visualization, and other design elements to elevate communicationsPartner with account teams to shape how ideas, information, and recommendations are visually presentedSupport integrated campaigns with creative assets across print, digital, social, and experiential channelsHelp maintain and evolve the BRG brand across internal, external, and business development materialsPrepare accurate, production-ready files for print and digital useIncorporate feedback thoughtfully and efficiently while managing multiple projects and deadlinesQualificationsBachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field3+ years of professional design experience; agency or multi-client experience strongly preferredA strong portfolio demonstrating excellent layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand thinkingAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoshopStrong PowerPoint and Word design skillsExperience designing for both digital and print environmentsAbility to visualize data and simplify complex informationStrong attention to detail and commitment to polished, accurate workAbility to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlinesStrong communication skills, curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindsetWordPress or CMS experience is a plusPlease include a portfolio link or work samples with your application if there are examples you are able to share.Why BRGAt BRG, you'll work on meaningful communications alongside people who value smart thinking, creativity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth. This range represents BRG Communications' good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
