Graphic Design & Communication Associate

IKEA US is hiring a Graphic Design & Communication Associate for the Interior Design & Visual Merchandising team in Elizabeth, NJ . This part-time permanent role supports the store’s graphic communication needs by carrying out the department action plan, creating retail-ready materials, and keeping in-store graphics current and aligned with IKEA’s visual identity.

Working onsite, you will produce, install, and maintain graphic communications across the store, while partnering with leadership on store-specific printed materials. The position also emphasizes cost-conscious execution and support for the company’s sustainability initiatives.

What you will do

Execute the department graphic communication action plan to help grow the business and increase profitability.

Produce and install graphic communications throughout the store in line with the IKEA concept and visual brand identity.

Support cost-efficient implementation of graphic communication and align work with IKEA sustainability initiatives.

Collaborate with leadership on the design of store-specific printed materials.

Stay current on graphic communication and retail trends.

What you bring

2-3 years of graphic design experience.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and pre-press production tools .

An Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or similar (preferred).

Location: Elizabeth, NJ (onsite)

Employment type: Part Time Permanent

Hours: 12-20 hours per week

Pay range: USD 23.23 - 32.82 per hourly (hourly pay rate range: $23.23 - $32.82)

Availability: Must have working availability at least 3 days between 7:00AM-3:30PM from Mondays to Fridays

Schedule: Some weekends shifts required based on business needs, remodels, and special projects
