Job Summary

The Brand Marketing Coordinator is a master of organization who helps keep the Marketing team and its work moving forward. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role supports projects through every phase of development - from initial planning and creative production to final execution and delivery - across content, photoshoots, retail marketing, events and other brand initiatives. Working closely with Brand, Creative, Go-to-Market, Product, Sales and Operations, this person brings structure to a fast-moving environment, anticipates what the team needs and ensures the details are handled with accuracy and urgency. The role also provides administrative support to the VP of Sales & Marketing and Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities

Support marketing projects from kickoff through completion, helping coordinate timelines, deliverables, approvals and communication across internal teams and external partners.
Manage and maintain marketing projects within Asana, ensuring project plans, timelines, ownership and status updates are accurate, complete and current.
Support the organization and management of marketing content, including coordinating asset intake, file organization, metadata, reviews, approvals and final delivery across internal platforms and external partners.
Help maintain content calendars and track creative deliverables to ensure teams have the right assets at the right time.
Support photoshoots and creative production through scheduling, product coordination, logistics, documentation and on-set assistance as needed.
Partner with external vendors to complete onboarding, secure quotes, coordinate purchase orders and establish project and production timelines.
Order, track and coordinate product samples and marketing materials for internal teams, agency partners, creators, media and other external stakeholders.
Route donation, contribution, customer and sales representative requests to the appropriate decision-makers and teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations and other cross-functional partners to support the execution of company and brand initiatives.
Coordinate meetings and team activities, including scheduling, venue arrangements, travel, meals and other logistical needs.
Provide administrative support to Marketing leadership, including calendar coordination, expense reporting, meeting preparation and other department needs.
Communicate clearly, professionally and proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
Represent Benchmade with professionalism and a strong commitment to the brand in every interaction.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep the Marketing team organized, responsive and moving forward.
Required Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, brand operations, creative operations, project coordination or a related role. An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
Experience supporting projects through multiple phases of development, from initial planning and creative review through production, delivery and final asset organization.
Familiarity with project-management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet or similar tools, including maintaining timelines, assigning responsibilities and tracking deliverables.
Experience organizing and managing content or creative assets within a digital asset management system, shared drive or other content-management platform.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across departments and with external partners.
Strong attention to detail and a consistent ability to produce accurate, complete work.
Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment, with the ability to anticipate needs, identify potential roadblocks and move work forward with limited oversight.
Resourceful, adaptable and accountable, with a willingness to learn and step into new types of work as priorities evolve.
Ability to manage confidential or sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to remain composed when timelines or priorities shift.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within a consumer brand, retail, outdoor, lifestyle or product-driven organization.
Experience supporting photoshoots, creative production, product launches, retail marketing or experiential events.
Familiarity with digital asset management, content-management or proofing platforms such as Bynder, Brandfolder, Airtable, Workfront or similar systems.
Experience coordinating vendors, purchase orders, production estimates, product samples and project logistics.
Interest in Benchmade, the outdoor industry and the lifestyles connected to the brand.
