Product Development Intern (Apparel & Accessories)

A growing fashion and accessories brand in Hoboken, NJ, known for its licensed apparel partnerships, is looking for a Product Development Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn product development end-to-end - from trend research and sketch review through sampling, sourcing, and vendor communication.

What you'll do:

Get exposure to product development across both apparel and accessories categories

Track and organize incoming samples by stage (including PP and TOP)

Support trend forecasting and seasonal concept development

Assist with tech pack prep and early-stage vendor conversations, including overseas partners

Review artwork placement, garment construction, and swatch/trim references

Help build presentations, mood boards, and line assortments

Log timelines and sample status in Asana and Excel-based trackers

Work cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Production, Marketing, and Licensing

What you'll bring:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion, Technical Design, or a related field

Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD (coursework counts)

A genuine interest in fashion, trend, and how products actually get made

1 year of experience in apparel/accessories product development andsourcing

Strong organization, communication, and a "figure it out" attitude

This is a great fit for someone early in their career who wants real, hands-on product development reps at a brand with an established, recognizable product line.

Pay: $18-$20/hour
