This is a full-time, W-2 position where you will work directly with residential and light commercial customers on a variety of projects. You will have the independence of running your own jobs while being fully supported by a professional office team.
What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, success means arriving on time at your scheduled jobs, clearly explaining the scope of work to homeowners, and executing repairs safely and efficiently. You will handle projects ranging from minor door adjustments and drywall patches to larger carpentry and fixture installation jobs.
Over time, success in this role looks like:
Consistently delivering high-quality repairs that stand the test of time.
Building rapport with local homeowners, leading to repeat clients who specifically request you for their next projects.
Collaborating effectively with our dispatch team to ensure jobs run smoothly from start to finish.
Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean workspace on every job site.
What You Bring to the Team

Must-Have Qualifications:

At least 5 years of paid experience in home maintenance, remodeling, carpentry, or a related trade.
Your own standard set of hand and power tools appropriate for multi-trade work.
A reliable, professional-looking truck, van, or SUV capable of safely carrying tools and materials.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, respectful approach to customer service.
The ability to pass a background check.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Advanced skills in carpentry, drywall repair, tile installation, or trim work.
Experience using a smartphone or tablet for dispatching, documenting job progress, and uploading photos.
Prior experience working in residential service or remodeling environments.
