Social Media & Content Intern

DripShop · Portland, OR, USA ·

Job type:
Full Time

Drip is an AI-native social commerce platform for collectibles. We work with individual collectors and large-scale brands alike across three surfaces: live shopping , digital repacks , and a standard marketplace — so however someone wants to buy, sell, or rip, they can do it on Drip.

The business is profitable and growing 20–30% on average over the last six months . We're small, moving fast, and content is one of the biggest levers on what comes next.

About the role
We're looking for a Social Media & Content Intern who is already in the hobby. Someone who knows what a good pull feels like, who follows the market, who watches breaks for fun, and who has opinions about what's hitting right now. You'll help us show up across every channel with content that feels native to collectors — not like a brand trying to speak the language.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be making things every week: shooting short-form video, cutting clips, designing statics, sourcing UGC, and helping shape what we say and how we say it. You'll work directly with our Social Media Content Lead, with real input into what we make and where it goes.

What you'll do
Organic social

Help run day-to-day posting across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, and Reddit

Track what's performing, what isn't, and bring ideas for what we should try next

Engage in comments, DMs, and community spaces where the hobby actually hangs out

Short-form video

Concept, shoot, and edit short-form video — rips, reactions, market takes, product moments, trend formats

Turn longer content (streams, breaks, interviews) into clips worth watching

Be comfortable on camera, or comfortable getting others on camera

UGC

Source, curate, and coordinate user- and creator-generated content

Help build a repeatable pipeline for collecting and resharing community content

Work with creators to get assets we can actually use

Static content

Design graphics sized and styled for each channel

Build out templates and repeatable formats so we can move fast

Generate content about Pokémon and the broader collectibles market — releases, price movement, grading, set news, hobby drama, whatever's driving conversation that week

Bring us the trend before we see it somewhere else

Who we're looking for

Deep in the hobby. You collect, rip, trade, or follow the market closely. You know the difference between a good deal and a hyped one. This isn't something you'd need to research.

Outgoing. You're comfortable on camera, in comments, and reaching out to creators and community members cold.

Creative. You have taste, you have ideas, and you'd rather pitch three concepts than wait for a brief.

Fluent with AI tools. You use AI to move faster — ideation, scripting, editing, image generation, research — and you know where it helps and where it doesn't.

Self-directed. At 10–15 hours a week, you'll need to prioritize well and ship without a lot of hand-holding.

Based in Portland, OR.

Nice to have

Editing chops in CapCut, Premiere, or similar

Design skills in Canva, Figma, or Photoshop

An existing audience or account you've grown yourself

Experience moderating or participating in Discord, Reddit, or other community spaces

Any experience with live-stream or breaking content

What you'll get

A paid internship with real ownership — your work goes live, not into a deck

A 3–6 month term with a genuine path to full-time for people who perform

Direct exposure to how an AI-native commerce company actually operates: creators, brands, community, growth, and product

Flexible hours that work around class or another job

A portfolio of published work by the time you're done

Drip is an equal opportunity employer. We're committed to building a team with a range of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
