REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3–5 years DAM (digital asset management) experience — CMS tools a plus (onboarding Shade)

We’re looking for an assistant video editor / digital asset specialist who will research, source video assets, and assistant edit various sizzle, digital, social, and promotional video content using brand-approved assets and guidelines. They will help source content and set up projects for our internal Lead Editor or external vendors, support exporting content for multi-platform delivery, and support finishing tasks. Additionally, you will own our video archive. You will reach out to vendors for asset delivery, tag and upload footage to our AI-powered archive tool, have a librarian brain for content organization, and be a resource to all creatives on the wider team looking for specific content. You have expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere and working knowledge of After Effects.
What you’ll do: Edit rough cuts of in-house sizzle, documentary, promo, b-roll compilations, and other video creative
Source content and set up a project for senior video editors, both in-house and external.
Help export content for multi-platform delivery with resizing and other tasks.
Help with various finishing tasks like subtitles, prep for color, and conform.
Assist with music searches using stock sites and external research vendors.
Communicate effectively with senior team members to archive larger projects.
Become an expert in our AI-powered video archive tool (Shade)
Ingest, organize, quality-check, and archive digital assets.
Maintain metadata, permissions, asset naming, and library accuracy.
Handle asset-search and distribution requests from creative, marketing, and agency partners.
Audit libraries, help train users, document workflows, and support DAM migrations/process improvements.
Stay informed on evolving post-production technologies and workflows to identify opportunities for improving post-production and creative execution.
What we’re looking for: 3-5 years of production-oriented work experience, preferably in an agency or marketing communications environment.
Expert knowledge of Adobe CC Premiere
Basic knowledge of Adobe CC After Effects
Must understand and possess basic storytelling skills through video editing
Experience with digital asset management (DAM) or content management system (CMS) tools a plus (we’re onboarding Shade)
Experience in managing Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Cloud-based file management systems a plus.
Must learn our new AI-powered content management system.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Exceptional organizational, time management, and research skills
Working knowledge of Google Workplace, Figma, and AI creation tools preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
