We celebrate our associates.The Manager, Content & Local SEO owns the content and local SEO programs for DignityMemorial.com and Dignity Memorial owned websites. Working with the Senior Manager, SEO, this role identifies growth opportunities, establishes priorities, leads cross-functional and agency partners, and measures the impact of content and local SEO investments.Job ResponsibilitiesOwn the local SEO strategy and performance for Dignity Memorial locations, including Google Business Profiles, local listings, location pages, and local search visibility.Develop strategies to improve map pack rankings, local organic visibility, and location-driven traffic and conversions.Establish standards for NAP consistency, local page optimization, and location-based structured data.Use performance data, competitive insights, and market trends to identify and prioritize local SEO growth opportunities.Lead agency partners responsible for local SEO, setting priorities, and evaluating recommendations and results.EducationA Bachelor's Degree in marketing or business related field.Experience5-7 years of digital marketing experience3 years of onsite and offsite Search Engine OptimizationExperience partnering with product and IT to deliver technical solutions that improve SEOExperience with web analyticsExperience managing agency partnershipsGoogle Search ConsoleSEO tools like SEMRush, MOZ, Surfer SEO, BrightEdgeKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of current SEO techniques and best practicesAnalyticalOrganizedAttention to detailWritten and oral communicationAbility to travel as neededWork ConditionsWork EnvironmentWork indoors during all seasons and weather conditionsComply with Corporate dress code policyWork PosturesSitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per dayMay climb stairs to access buildingsPhysical DemandsPhysical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usageWork HoursWorking beyond "standard" hours as the need arisesTravel up to 10%
