The Video Annotation Expert Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking detail-oriented Video Annotation Experts to review, validate, and improve annotations across diverse video datasets. You will focus on accuracy, consistency, completeness, action annotations, and hand‑pose data.
This is a remote contractor role for candidates who are fluent in English and based in one of the eligible countries. No prior experience in AI is required, while experience with video labeling workflows and video understanding or computer vision AI expertise is required.

What You'll Do
Review video annotations for accuracy, consistency, and completeness across diverse datasets.
Identify and tag quality issues or discrepancies in action annotations and hand‑pose data.
Make precise corrections to improve overall annotation quality.
Evaluate English-language action annotations against established guidelines.
Assess and validate hand‑pose data using detailed quality standards.
Provide concise written feedback on annotation issues and suggest improvements to guidelines.
Document findings, corrections, and recommendations using standardized formats.
Follow detailed project instructions and meet agreed project deadlines.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
You should bring exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing video data. The role requires comfort working in English, fluent English proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Experience or familiarity with video annotation tools, video labeling workflows, large-scale video datasets, action recognition, hand‑pose analysis, or related annotation projects is valuable. Strong communication skills and consistent adherence to quality guidelines are important.
