Medical BillerBeacon Hill is partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join their team. This individual will support the revenue cycle process through accurate billing, payment posting, account reconciliation, claims follow-up, and denial resolution. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in medical billing practices, coding, and insurance reimbursement, with a strong commitment to providing excellent service to patients and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Enter and review charges to ensure accurate billing and coding.Post insurance and patient payments and process refunds as needed.Reconcile patient accounts and assist with resolving billing discrepancies.Generate and distribute patient statements and billing notices.Verify appropriate insurance assignments and coverage information.Follow up on outstanding claims and work denials to maximize reimbursement.Respond to patient billing inquiries and document account activity within the practice management system.Maintain compliance with billing regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies.Support additional revenue cycle and administrative functions as needed.Qualifications:2+ years of medical billing or patient accounting experience.Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology.Understanding of insurance reimbursement methodologies and denial management.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and billing/practice management software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a diverse and collaborative environment.Preferred Qualifications:Bilingual English/Spanish skills.Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
