Job type:

Sprints is a rapidly scaling athletic gear brand with a mission to make funner gear for athletes. Ranging from headwear to apparel and accessories, Sprints has become known for its iconic patterns, bold colorways, and deep belief that performance and style are equally important for today's athlete.

The Role
As our Associate Designer, you'll build the operational and documentation foundation that lets our design team scale across product categories and channels. You'll keep our Visual Line Plans, catalogs, techpacks, and factory communication organized, accurate, and production-ready, and you'll bring the trend and market insight that keeps our design team ahead of what's next. This is a role for someone who thrives on structure and precision, and who wants real ownership over the systems that make great design scalable.

What You'll Own

VLP Management & Maintenance:

Owning the organization, upkeep, and accuracy of Visual Line Plans across all active product lines, and supporting SKU setup, naming conventions, and assortment accuracy

Catalog Creation:

Leading creation and organization of quarterly catalogs, maintaining visual consistency and product accuracy across presentations, and supporting seasonal storytelling through organized product presentation

Techpack Creation & Revision:

Supporting creation, revision, and standardization of master techpacks in OnBrand PLM, maintaining product specs, construction details, and BOM accuracy, and assisting with PLM migration and documentation consistency

Factory Communication Support:

Supporting communication flow between design, development, and manufacturing partners, organizing development comments, revisions, and sample tracking in WIP, and helping maintain approval timelines

Trend Tracking & Identification:

Monitoring color, print, silhouette, and cultural trend movement across the market, supporting seasonal inspiration gathering and competitive research, and organizing trend insights into actionable references for the design team

What We're Looking For

Experience:

Background in design operations, product development, or a related support role within apparel or accessories

Organizational Skill:

Highly organized with a strong eye for detail, able to manage documentation across multiple product lines without losing accuracy

Systems Fluency:

Comfortable working in PLM systems (OnBrand or similar) and keeping documentation standardized and scalable

Trend Sensibility:

A genuine interest in tracking color, print, and cultural trends, and translating them into useful direction for a design team

Industry:

Experience with or real interest in the sports, running, or active lifestyle space

Who Thrives Here
You're energized by building, not maintaining. You want to roll up your sleeves and do the work, and you're excited by the chance to help architect what we make next. You don't wait to be told what to look at, you find the problems, flag them, and come with solutions. Ambition is welcomed here, and so is having fun while you do it.
