A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Visual Designer - Product Storytelling and Prototyping to join their team in Mountain View, CA.Overview:We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer to bring product stories to life through high-quality demos, storyboards, and internal narratives. This role is focused on execution, cohesion, and speed- translating in-progress product work into clear, compelling, and visually polished experiences.You will work across multiple product teams to stitch together end-to-end flows, refine designs directly in Figma, and create rapid prototypes that help teams visualize and align on the story. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys turning rough inputs into cohesive, demo-ready outputs.Duties Include:
Build and refine demo-ready experiences
Create polished screenshots, flows, and visual assets for demos, presentations, and internal storytelling
Take rough or in-progress designs and bring them to a high-quality, demo-ready state
Ensure consistency in layout, hierarchy, and visual clarity across all assets
Stitch together end-to-end product stories
Combine work from multiple teams into cohesive, easy-to-follow demo flows
Translate early storyboards and partial scripts into clear visual narratives
Identify gaps, missing states, or unclear transitions and help resolve them
Rapidly prototype flows to support storytelling
Create prototypes/vibe coded and/or lightweight interactive flows
Use prototyping to validate pacing, transitions, and narrative clarity
Balance fidelity - moving quickly in early stages, refining as stories lock
Partner closely with product design teams
Collaborate with designers to source screens and align on what should be shown
Make targeted refinements directly in Figma to improve demo quality
Work within existing design systems while adapting for storytelling needs
Support evolving storyboards
Skills
5-8+ years in visual design, production design, or product design
Experience supporting product demos, presentations, or storytelling-driven work
Experience working across multiple teams and design systems
Strong visual design craft (layout, typography, composition, attention to detail)
High proficiency in Figma, including working directly within product UI files
Ability to take rough inputs and turn them into clean, cohesive outputs
Comfort with prototyping (clickable flows, light interaction) to support storytelling
Ways of working:
Fast and adaptable in early stages; Detail-oriented in later stages
Comfortable operating in ambiguity with evolving scripts and flows
Highly collaborative and proactive in identifying gaps and driving clarity
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting keynotes, events, or executive presentations
Motion or interaction design skills
Experience with demo environments or simulated product data

Demo experiences feel clear, cohesive, and compelling - not stitched together
Storyboards are easy to follow and effectively visualize the narrative
Teams align faster because stories are made tangible early
Visual quality is consistently high across all demo outputs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
