Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repair of broadcasting equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas and audio consoles
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
Monitor signal strength and quality to ensure optimal transmission
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of live broadcasts
Install and configure new equipment as needed
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Stay updated on new technology and advancements in the broadcasting industry
Requirements
Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of radio frequency (RF) technology
Familiarity with audio editing software
Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot technical problems quickly
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Salary
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month. Salary may increase based on experience and performance.
Location
This position is located in Washington but we welcome candidates from any nationality or location who are willing to relocate.
