Internal Communication Specialist Job at Jobtailor in Convent Station

Support development of content and messages for medical center presidents and other leaders
Create communications for e-newsletters, informational emails, Viva Engage and The Compass intranet
Develop and execute communications strategies engaging 20,000 team members across system and medical center business strategies
Create communications strategies and materials across multiple platforms to bring Atlantic Health brands to life
Develop communications positioning Atlantic Health medical centers as organizations team members love to work for
Partner with marketing and public relations teams to highlight and promote medical center accomplishments tied to strategic goals
Work with cross-functional teams, including medical center leadership, on promotion and content development for events
Travel to Atlantic Health sites and facilities as needed for meetings and events
Requirements

5 years (minimum) of work experience developing and implementing effective communication plans and strategies, working with senior leaders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel communications
Proven track record of working with all levels of team members, from the front line to the C-suite
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; fast learner with problem-solving and collaboration skills
Ability to work confidently on multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
Passion for communications, creative storytelling and brand awareness
Keen understanding of the current communications landscape; tech and social media savvy
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field
5 plus years of experience in internal communications, or related field
Excellent project management skills
Expert presentation skills and professional presence
Experience in copywriting and editing
Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop preferred
Proficiency with internal and external social media platforms such as Viva Engage and LinkedIn
Ability to work onsite and travel regularly between Atlantic Health facilities
Ability to sit, speak and operate telephone, computer and other devices for long periods of time
