On-Air Local News Reporter

KUOW Public Radio is seeking a General Assignment Reporter to contribute regularly to daily news coverage. Reporting to the Afternoon News Editor, you will pitch and report local stories for KUOW 94.9 and KUOW.org, delivering 2–3 pieces weekly and meeting daily deadlines.
The role emphasizes original reporting (about 80%) and station support (about 20%), with opportunities to appear on shows and podcasts, build sources, and engage audiences across broadcast and digital platforms.
