2D Animation Director

Leading a talented animation team, the full-time 2D Animation Director will define and elevate the animation style and performance quality, ensuring strong storytelling and visual consistency across productions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities

Establish and maintain the overall animation style, providing creative direction on performance and evaluating storyboards for animation needs
Lead, mentor, and support a team of animators while collaborating with various departments to ensure stylistic cohesion
Conduct animation reviews and ensure all work adheres to established quality standards and visual language

Required qualifications

At least 3 years of experience as an Animation Director or Supervisor in 2D productions
Strong portfolio showcasing hand-drawn 2D animation
Deep understanding of human anatomy and experience with both anime and Western animation styles
Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony
Excellent communication skills
