Position: Director of Marketing

Location: New York, NY or San Diego (In-office/on-site 2 days a week)

Compensation: $150k - $175k (firm) base + bonus

Reports To: CEO/Co-Founder

Director of Marketing (DTC Lifestyle Brand | Women’s Sport & Culture)

Fast‑growing DTC lifestyle brand intersecting sport, culture, and community. Built for modern women who value movement and style. Strong early traction and entering a new growth phase.

Role

Own the marketing engine end-to-end. Brand, influencer, partnerships, launches, and performance marketing. Hands‑on operator who can set strategy and execute . Partner closely with a founder‑led creative team to bring campaigns and drops to life.

Responsibilities

Lead full‑funnel marketing to drive growth and brand affinity

Build and scale influencer + partnership programs

Manage performance marketing across Meta, Google, TikTok

Run product drops & seasonal launches

Connect performance + creative with tight feedback loops

Profile

DTC marketer who knows how modern brands grow through creators + storytelling

Strategic + hands‑on in equal measure

Experimental, fast‑moving, data‑informed

Strong collaborator with taste and cultural fluency

Experience

3–8 years of experience in DTC or consumer marketing

Background in lifestyle, fashion, or sport‑adjacent brands preferred

Proven experience with influencer, partnership, and brand‑led growth initiatives

Experience overseeing performance marketing across Meta, Google, and TikTok

Strong performance tracking, budget management, and optimization skills

Bonus points for Shopify, Klaviyo, and early‑stage or growth‑phase brand experience
