Overview As a developer for design system, you will be responsible for implementing various components and patterns that enhance user experience across our digital platforms. Your role will ensure consistency and high quality in both design and functionality. Specifically, you will help translate component technical requirements from Figma into a user stories, implement those user stories into SASS and HTML components within Storybook, and develop automated test cases based on these technical requirements using unit tests (e.g., Jest) and end-to-end tests (e.g., BrowserStack). Job responsibilities JavaScript / TypeScript: Strong proficiency in ES6+ features and best practices.
CSS: Advanced knowledge of CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
HTML: Solid understanding of semantic HTML and WCAG AA compliance.
Frontend Performance: Proficient in optimizing web performance (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting).
Dev/Build Tooling: Strong experience with build tools like Webpack, Rollup, or Parcel.
Testing: Proficiency in creating and maintaining unit test suites (Jest, Mocha).
Component Development: Experience with Storybook for UI component development and documentation.
Agile / Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working in agile/Scrum environments, actively participating in sprints and retrospectives.
