Enterprise Communications ManagerThis role is an office position based in Louisville, KY.The Enterprise Communications Manager is responsible for shaping and advancing communications that strengthen employee and external audience understanding, organizational alignment, and confidence in Heaven Hill Brands. Reporting to the Associate Director of Brand & Enterprise Communications, this role serves as a strategic communications partner across the business, leading internal communications strategy, executive communications, change communications, and enterprise messaging.Working closely with senior leaders, the Manager develops communication strategies that connect employees and key stakeholders to company priorities while helping navigate significant organizational initiatives and sensitive business matters. The role also provides strategic direction and coaching to the Internal Communications Coordinator, who manages day-to-day channel execution.This is a dual-channel role: balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, personally leading the company's highest-impact communications while ensuring consistent, timely delivery of messages to the right audiences with clarity and impact. This role is expected to personally produce content across executive communications, enterprise announcements, and internal channels, not only set strategy for others to execute.How You Will Spend Your Time?Enterprise CommunicationsSupport enterprise communications that reinforce Heaven Hill Brands' corporate narrative, business priorities, and organizational reputationDevelop communication strategies for significant company announcements, organizational updates, and sensitive business matters, translating complex information into clear narratives for varied audiencesLead communication planning for significant organizational change initiatives, ensuring employees across all geographies and job types receive timely, clear, and consistent informationDevelop communication strategies that address the distinct needs of diverse employee populations, including union employees, office-based employees, senior leaders, and international audiencesPartner with Legal, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure coordinated communications across the organization, aligning messaging, approvals, and sequencingDevelop messaging and supporting materials for enterprise initiatives that affect multiple stakeholder groups, including employees, leadership, partners, and communityMonitor emerging business issues and recommend communication approaches that proactively address reputational risk and organizational opportunityAssist the Assoc. Director in developing crisis communication materials, issues preparedness resources, and message frameworks that enable timely and consistent responsesCorporate Storytelling & Enterprise ChannelsLead content strategy for Heaven Hill Brands' corporate communication channels, including LinkedIn and other enterprise-owned platformsDevelop content that highlights company culture, leadership, community involvement, business milestones, and corporate prioritiesEnsure enterprise messaging remains consistent across internal and external corporate communicationsMonitor performance and recommend opportunities to strengthen engagement and organizational storytellingInternal Communications Strategy & GovernanceDevelop and lead the internal communications strategy to support company priorities, organizational alignment, and employee engagementEstablish editorial standards, governance, and communication best practices across internal channelsDirect the internal communications calendar, ensuring communications are timely, coordinated, and aligned with business prioritiesReview and approve high-impact employee communications while empowering the Internal Communications Coordinator to own day-to-day channel executionEvaluate communication effectiveness and recommend improvements based on employee feedback, channel performance, and evolving business needsIdentify opportunities to strengthen communication tools, channels, and the overall employee communications experienceExecutive CommunicationsPartner with the Assoc. Director to support executive communications strategy for the Co-Presidents and senior leadership teamDraft executive messages, presentations, talking points, Q&A documents, and leadership communications that reflect each leader's authentic voiceDevelop messaging frameworks and communication plans for key business initiatives and organizational milestones before drafting beginsBuild briefing materials that enable leaders to communicate confidently during high-profile or sensitive momentsAnticipate executive communication needs and proactively develop messaging recommendations before they are requestedCoach senior leaders on how to communicate effectively during organizational change and high visibility business momentsStrategic Planning & LeadershipPartner with the Assoc. Director to develop the annual internal and enterprise communications strategy and prioritiesServe as a trusted communications advisor to business partners across the organization, identifying emerging needs and recommending solutions before issues ariseCoach, develop, and provide strategic direction to the Corporate Communications Coordinator while fostering a high standard of executionPersonally lead communication development for high-profile, time-sensitive, or business-critical initiatives when the work requires senior judgmentHandle confidential information with sound judgment, professionalism, and discretionWho You Are…Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related disciplineMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related function, preferably in CPG, spirits, manufacturing or similarly complex multi-site organizationExceptional writing ability across formats, from executive messaging and employee communications to sensitive corporate announcements and Q&A preparationDemonstrated experience managing internal communications channels and content calendars at scaleExperience handling sensitive enterprise communications with sound judgment and discretionStrong instinct for what is and is not a story, with a clear read on reputational risk vs. opportunityAbility to translate complex organizational or business information into clear, compelling narratives for varied audiencesIntegrative thinker who connects priorities across functions and anticipates what comes nextOperates with urgency, stays ahead of deadlines, and anticipates communication needs before they are voicedStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyBuilds trusted cross-functional relationships and serves as a credible communications advisorUses data to evaluate channel performance and distinguish between activity produced and organizational impact achievedSelf-directed with a high degree of operating independence in fast-moving environmentsValued but not Required Skills and Experience:Experience developing issues preparedness frameworks, response playbooks, or crisis communications protocolsExperience with change management communications principles and frameworksExperience in a family-owned or privately held business, with an appreciation for the culture, heritage, and long-term relationships that shape how the organization communicatesFamiliarity with Asana or similar project management platformsExperience with SharePoint, intranet platforms, or employee communications technologyFamiliarity with AI tools to support content drafting, briefing preparation, or media monitoringPhysical RequirementsStand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use a computer; reach with hands and armsLift and/or move up to 20 poundsBenefitsPaid Vacation11 Paid HolidaysHealth, Dental & Vision eligibility from day oneFSA/HSA401K matchEAPMaternity/Paternity LeaveHeaven Hill and its affiliates are committed to fostering a diverse workforce as an Equal Employment Opportunity company.
