What’s special about this team:
The Digital Marketing CRM team helps create personalized customer experiences by delivering relevant, data-driven communications across multiple digital channels. Partnering closely with Marketing, Technology, Data & Insights, Product, and global market teams, the team uses customer insights, marketing technology, and emerging digital capabilities to strengthen customer relationships and improve business outcomes.

As part of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) function, the team is responsible for developing and optimizing customer engagement strategies across the customer lifecycle. Team members leverage data, automation, analytics, and experimentation to enhance campaign performance, improve customer experiences, and support CRM best practices across global markets.

Interns gain exposure to marketing technology platforms, customer journey strategy, campaign analytics, emerging AI applications, and cross-functional collaboration within a global organization. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in the intersection of marketing, data, technology, and customer experience.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:
Join Amway's Digital Marketing CRM team as we develop and optimize customer engagement strategies across a variety of digital channels. The Digital Marketing Intern will support initiatives focused on delivering personalized customer experiences through data-driven marketing, customer journey optimization, and campaign execution.

This hands-on role will work closely with partners across Marketing, Technology, Data & Insights, Product, and global market teams to support CRM campaigns, analyze performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to customer engagement initiatives. The intern will help translate customer insights into actionable recommendations while gaining exposure to marketing technology platforms, campaign management processes, and customer lifecycle strategy.

Through this experience, the intern will learn how large organizations leverage data, technology, and cross-functional collaboration to create meaningful customer experiences, improve campaign effectiveness, and drive business results across global markets.

An example of a typical project would be:
Example #1 - CRM Competitive Benchmark Analysis

Research and evaluate customer engagement strategies used by leading brands across industries, including email marketing, SMS programs, push notifications, loyalty initiatives, onboarding experiences, and customer lifecycle journeys. Example #2 - CRM Use Case Library & Journey Gap Analysis

Support the organization and enhancement of a global CRM use case repository by documenting customer journeys, audience segments, business objectives, engagement triggers, communication channels, and expected outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and recommend new CRM use cases to address gaps within the existing journey framework.

Example #3 - CRM Analytics & AI Innovation Project

Analyze campaign performance data, reporting processes, and emerging CRM technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
