Digital Media Production, Adjunct faculty are needed to teach MediaLiteracy, Media and Video Production, Digital Filmmaking, andEditing. For day, evening, weekend, and/or online classes at theCommunity College of Baltimore County. Adjunct faculty will beexpected to facilitate learning via preparation and delivery ofinstruction, cooperation with College support staff in timelysubmission of materials and grades as required and, coordination ofactivities with the Program Director or Coordinator. Adjunctfaculty are selected based on program needs and subject matterexpertise of the applicant.
Level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour. Location: Catonsville, Dundalk & Essex Campuses
Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in Electronic Media and Film, Digital MediaProduction, Video Production; or Bachelor’s Degree (in discipline)and seven years of professional experience and a portfolio
Two (2) years teaching experience
Experience using classroom technology and learning managementsystems preferred
Proficient computer skills and MicroSoft applicationsknowledge
Prior college teaching experience preferred
A working knowledge of Screenplay writing and formattingpreferred
Class Specific Essential Duties Fulfills department and college responsibilities as directed bythe program director and/or course coordinator
Abides by College wide policies and procedures regardingclassroom conduct
Employs a variety of teaching strategies to meet a diversestudent population
Adheres to the scheduled time of class/lab
Develops a course syllabus that is in keeping with program andCollege policies
Ensures that program specific evaluation methods areadministered and completed in a consistent and equitablemanner
Assure that evaluation methods are appropriate and effectivelyassessing the established course objectives
Monitors student performance on a regular basis and providesfeedback within a reasonable timeframe to students

Roth 403(b) is a savings feature that is available when youopen a 403(b) account. The Roth403(b) savings feature is only offered by the following vendors:TIAA-CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. Adjunct Faculty, PartTime Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save forretirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees maycontribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b)post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combinedfor the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYAFinancial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorizationform is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/HumanResources Forms.
Parking Free. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of PublicSafety to use on all campuses.
