The State University of New York is searching for exceptional students to join the SUNY Digital Engagement web management team as web content developers and editors.
The web management team works to implement SUNY's online media strategy; develop responsive, engaging, and optimized websites and content; generate inbound traffic to SUNY's web properties; interact with constituents in an open and transparent manner; and develop brand awareness.
The team is led by SUNY's Manager of Digital Engagement.
Positions Available Include
Paid student assistantship, available to undergraduate or graduate students (up to 29 hours per week)
All members of the SUNY Digital Engagement Team web management team strive to:
Create and edit accessible and optimized web content that is universal in reach
Develop meaningful, quantifiable efforts and performance reports on SUNY web properties
Collaborate with all 64 campuses to develop content about SUNY's students, faculty, staff and alumni
Engage in responsible, open and transparent conversations relating to SUNY or higher education

Job Requirements
Applicants are expected to have:
Knowledge of web development trends and software
HTML, CSS, Javascript knowledge and skills. Familiarity with Wordpress or TerminalFour CMS a plus but not required.
Excellent writing and editing skills
Video, and audio editing capabilities are a plus
All applicants must be enrolled at a SUNY campus.
Additional Information
Hours are flexible. Typically averaging 20 hours per week. Paid Positions: Undergraduate students $16.00/hour: Graduate students $18.00/hour.
