Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in newsgathering and/or production.
Minimum 2 years’ experience writing, producing and desktop editing systems.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience line-producing newscasts
Experience editing content on a desktop editing system
Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills both in English and Spanish.
Ability to make priority decisions under a deadline
Strong ability to deliver news as it develops on all current and future platforms
Team player mentality
Eligibility Requirements Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be willing to work in Albuquerque, NM
Must be 18 years or older
Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
Desired Characteristics Show situational awareness and strong news judgment for news and weather content.
Ensure fast turnaround for breaking news/weather and timely content.
Possess editing skills on non-linear programs to edit video content including news packages, interviews, enterprise stories and segments.
Have strategic thinking, researching and organizational skills.
Have excellent time-management skills, prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
Have experience producing content on a wheel and changing out older content for live and/or fresh content.
Be familiar with other streaming/digital platforms (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, etc.).
