Job type:

FashionPass is an online, subscription-based clothing and accessory rental service for women. We are revolutionizing the retail industry as we know it and we are on a mission to empower women to look and feel like the best version of themselves one outfit at a time.

What sets us apart is our community. We have a fiercely loyal member base nationwide and we are growing fast - but we have never stopped treating our members like our best friends. We host member meet-ups (influencer-style events), and we show up for the women who show up for us. Whether a member is around the corner from our LA homebase or across the country, we want her to feel like she’s one of our friends. Social media is where that community actually lives: it's how a member in Ohio ends up sharing outfit ideas with a member in Austin, and it's how we pull everyone into the room.

We strive to bring an empathetic mindset to work everyday for the betterment of our entire community - our team members and customers. We are committed to building and growing empathetic leaders throughout the organization to continue to fuel our success and the development of our outstanding team members. From top to bottom, our team fosters a collaborative environment where we focus on getting it right rather than being right.

THE ROLE
TikTok is one of FashionPass's strongest brand assets, and we’re not looking for a rebuild - we’re looking for someone to bring the strategic vision that takes it further. This role owns our TikTok channel end to end: the strategy, the calendar, the briefs, and the content itself.

The ideal candidate is equal parts creator, strategist, and tastemaker - someone with strong creative instincts, cultural fluency, and a real understanding of how a distinctive TikTok presence gets built. You’ll post daily and star in the content, but you’ll also set the plan, run the creator program, and be accountable for the numbers. Because TikTok touches everything here, you’ll build relationships across merchandising, styling, brand, paid, PR, and CX to make it work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the Strategy

Own FashionPass's TikTok strategy end to end - channel goals, positioning, and the point of view that makes us recognizable in three seconds

Build and manage our evergreen, campaign, and launch TikTok calendars in partnership with Brand, Creative, and Merchandising

Develop ongoing content series and original social-first concepts for launches, evergreen moments, and creator partnerships

Monitor the competitive landscape, platform shifts, and cultural trends to evolve our strategy proactively rather than reactively

Write sharp, platform-native creative briefs that translate brand priorities into content people actually want to watch

Make the Content

Post daily - concepting, filming, starring in, and editing content that earns the scroll-stop

Work with our Founder to create founder-based content and storylines

Break trends fast: spot the audio, format, or moment early and ship a version the same day

Style and pull looks from current inventory alongside merchandising, styling, and marketing

Shoot and oversee social-first BTS and on-set capture at events, activations, and brand shoots

Direct freelance creators, models, and team members who appear on camera

Extend It to Instagram & Paid

Instagram & Reels Collaboration:

Partner closely with the marketing team to align on content calendars, campaign priorities, and creative direction, including identifying opportunities to adapt and cross-pollinate TikTok content for Instagram Reels and Stories

Reels & Stories Execution:

Adapt hooks, captions, pacing, and formatting so TikTok-native content lands on Instagram instead of feeling recycled, and use Stories to carry community moments, launches, and events

Paid Media Collaboration:

Partner with the Paid Media team to develop and deliver TikTok-first creative for paid campaigns, share organic performance insights, and identify high-performing content with potential for paid amplification

Own the Numbers

Own weekly, monthly, and campaign-level TikTok analytics and KPI reporting, with a read on how cross-posted content performs on Reels

Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations across content, creators, cadence, and format

Partner with Member Concierge on community management and how we show up in comments and DMs

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

3-5 years creating short-form video for a brand, an agency, or your own audience - ideally in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle - with a portfolio that proves it

Proven growth results: accounts you grew, videos that outperformed, and a clear explanation of why

Comfortable balancing strategic ownership with hands-on execution - you build the calendar, write the brief, and make the content

Total comfort on camera and the instinct to direct others once they're in front of it

Expert-level editing in CapCut, Premiere, or equivalent, with a sharp eye for hooks, pacing, captions, and sound

Excellent taste level and a real point of view on fashion, styling, and best-in-class brand building

Cultural fluency on TikTok and fluency in its mechanics - you know what's about to pop, not just what already did

Experience with social analytics, reporting, and performance optimization

Experience sourcing and managing creators, including briefs and deliverables

Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills - highly collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Openness to experimenting with emerging tools and AI-enabled workflows to work smarter and move faster

Los Angeles-based and available to work in our office 3 days a week, with flexibility for shoots and events

BENEFITS & PERKS

Fun Hybrid office environment - 3x a week in office
