Position Purpose
The Short Film & Digital Video Production Specialist will transform GPC’s collected data, photographs, videos, interviews, historical records, and community-impact stories into compelling short films and digital content.
This creative professional will help rebrand and strengthen GPC’s visual identity by producing authentic, emotionally engaging, and data-supported stories for social media, fundraising campaigns, partner presentations, special events, grant communications, and public education.
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who understands how to combine human experiences, measurable impact, visual design, music, motion graphics, and responsible AI tools to produce content that inspires people to learn, participate, donate, volunteer, and partner with GPC.
Key Responsibilities
Film and Video Production
Develop concepts, scripts, storyboards, and production plans for short films, documentaries, campaign videos, interviews, social media content, and impact stories.
Edit archival and newly collected footage into polished, emotionally engaging productions.
Create short-form videos, Reels, YouTube content, partner spotlights, volunteer stories, project recaps, and fundraising appeals.
Record or coordinate interviews with volunteers, paint donors, community partners, beneficiaries, educators, artists, corporate leaders, and other stakeholders.
Add professional voiceovers, captions, music, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics.
Format and optimize content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, websites, email campaigns, presentations, and digital displays.
Impact Storytelling and Rebranding
Translate GPC’s environmental, social, and community-impact data into clear and memorable visual stories.
Develop a consistent video style that reflects GPC’s brand, mission, credibility, diversity, and global reach.
Highlight the journey of donated paint, from recovery and processing to distribution and community transformation.
Showcase GPC’s partnerships, volunteers, recycling events, international shipments, beautification projects, and future vision.
Ensure that stories honor the dignity, voices, cultures, and experiences of the people and communities represented.
AI-Assisted Content Production
Use appropriate AI tools to support scripting, storyboarding, captions, transcription, translation, voice enhancement, editing, animation, and content repurposing.
Convert long-form interviews and project footage into multiple short pieces of platform-specific content.
Verify facts, statistics, names, locations, and visual representations before publication.
Clearly identify AI-generated or significantly altered content when disclosure is appropriate.
Protect confidential information, copyrighted materials, and the privacy of community members, donors, volunteers, and partners.
Collaboration and Project Management
Collaborate with the CEO, Social Media Content Manager, IT Team, program leaders, volunteers, and external partners.
Maintain an organized production calendar, asset library, project tracker, and file-naming system.
Manage multiple assignments while meeting established milestones and deadlines.
Present drafts for review, incorporate feedback, and complete revisions promptly.
Provide regular progress updates and identify any obstacles affecting production or delivery.
