Account Director

Our client, a leading strategic communications consultancy is seeking an experienced Account Director to join its growing team. This individual will lead integrated communications programs for clients across financial services, capital markets, fintech, emerging technology, and other fast-moving sectors.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who understands complex industries, can confidently counsel senior stakeholders, and enjoys operating in environments where market developments create daily opportunities for impactful storytelling.
Responsibilities: Lead and oversee multiple client accounts and integrated communications programs
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and executives
Develop strategic media relations and thought leadership campaigns
Identify market trends, issues, and opportunities that can drive visibility for clients
Manage account profitability, team performance, and client satisfaction
Mentor and develop junior team members
Support new business efforts and contribute to agency growth
Qualifications: 6-10+ years of public relations, strategic communications, or corporate communications experience
Experience within financial services, fintech, capital markets, trading, crypto, or adjacent sectors preferred
Proven success managing senior client relationships and leading account teams
Strong media relations network and strategic communications expertise
Excellent writing, presentation, and client management skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing industries
