Performing Arts Theatre Specialist

POSITION DETAILS

Reporting to the Director of Performing Arts and Event Venues, the Assistant Director oversees all administrative functions of the Lehman Center. Responsibilities include meeting with clients, scheduling events, and setting pricing in consultation with the Director. The Assistant Director prepares contracts and serves as the primary liaison between clients and Lehman Center technical staff, Public Safety, Buildings and Grounds, and the broader College community. Additional duties include tracking information requests, drafting acknowledgments, assisting with staff training, and representing the Executive Director at designated meetings.

Administer all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok), including content scheduling, engagement, and ad campaigns.

Supervision of RF full-time employee and Lehman Center part-time employees.

Update the Lehman Center website, keeping content current, coordinating with Ticketmaster, and addressing online business presence via Google Ads/Analytics.

Develop and execute marketing campaigns (email, social, direct mail) targeting an audience of 30,000+ emails and 50,000+ mail addresses.

Create all marketing materials, including brochures, physical ads, digital artwork, and promotional videos for events and Center branding.

Assist with grant writing and management, including identifying opportunities, preparing submissions, and handling reporting and compliance.

Assist with financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and audit preparation.

Aid in coordination of event scheduling and budgeting, ensuring strategic alignment between programming, rentals, and operating funds.

Supervise marketing staff and interns, and collaborate with the Executive Director on maintaining cost-effective, impactful campaigns within a $250–$300K budget.

Facilitates event setup by notifying the Box Office of on-sale dates and providing all necessary event details, including pricing, seating layout, and artist information.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.

Salary commensurate with education and experience. $98,995.
