Communications Director

About the Role Location: Main Campus – UCR
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-time)
Salary Range: $71,100 – $128,700 annually.
Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive marketing and communications program for the Health, Well‑Being & Safety division.
Lead and guide communication efforts across the division, creating strategic communications pieces, executive communications, internal communications, Op‑Eds, presentations, and speeches.
Design and manage the division’s strategic website and social media presence, including external presentations and remarks.
Collaborate with management to develop and execute organizational communication and market‑branding strategies and designs.
Plan and execute information campaigns, writing and editing comprehensive material for stylistic consistency, logic, organization, and development of content.
Recommend content and layout for visually appealing materials, coordinate multimedia production, and convert printed pieces to online formats and archives.
Conceive, research, write, edit, and publish a variety of strategic communications, including publications (e.g., annual reviews), impact reports, narratives, articles, proposals, presentations, speeches, website copy, and promotional material.
Provide leadership and support for high‑profile events within the division.
Qualifications & Eligibility Applicants must have current work authorization for a UCR staff position.
Hiring will not involve sponsorship of employment visas.
