Specialised Part-Time Consulting OpportunityWe are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced designers and visual communication professionals with strong expertise in corporate presentations, business documents, layout, typography, and polished knowledge-work deliverables.This role focuses on reviewing and improving professional decks, documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs for both content quality and visual execution. Selected professionals will compare alternative deliverables, identify the strongest version, and refine it to a polished, client-ready standard using practical corporate design judgement.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Presentation DesignReview and improve presentation decks for visual quality, clarity, and professional polishAssess slide layouts, spacing, hierarchy, alignment, and information densityRefine existing materials to achieve a high-quality corporate presentation standardEnsure complex business information is communicated clearly and efficientlyApply design judgement appropriate for consulting, finance, corporate, and professional-services environmentsVisual Layout & CompositionEvaluate layouts for balance, spacing, grouping, and visual hierarchyIdentify subtle inconsistencies such as alignment gaps, uneven elements, excessive whitespace, or poor margin disciplineImprove page and slide composition while preserving content integrityAssess whether visual structure supports comprehension and usabilityMaintain consistency across multi-page or multi-slide deliverablesTypography & FormattingReview typography for readability, hierarchy, consistency, and professional appearanceAssess font sizing, weight, spacing, alignment, and text densityRefine formatting to create clear distinctions between headings, supporting information, and key messagesIdentify inconsistencies that reduce visual polishApply disciplined formatting standards across complete deliverablesBusiness Document DesignReview professional documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs alongside presentation materialsAssess structure, visual organisation, and presentation of informationImprove tables, charts, text blocks, and other knowledge-work componentsEnsure materials feel coherent and professionally produced across formatsApply practical judgement to client-facing and internal corporate deliverablesDesign Comparison & EvaluationCompare multiple versions of the same deliverableAssess alternatives across layout and spacing, typography, colour, domain realism, and overall polishIdentify the strongest starting point for further refinementExplain evaluation decisions using specific visual evidenceDistinguish substantive design differences from minor stylistic preferencesReference-Quality RefinementRework selected deliverables to a polished, publication-ready standardImprove visual hierarchy, spacing, consistency, and overall presentationCorrect layout defects and inconsistencies throughout the deliverablePreserve or improve content quality while enhancing design executionProduce work appropriate for professional client-facing useWritten Design FeedbackProvide clear explanations for design and evaluation decisionsReference specific issues involving alignment, spacing, balance, grouping, typography, and densityArticulate why particular visual approaches are stronger or weakerProvide actionable and precise design feedbackApply evaluation standards consistently across assignmentsIdeal ProfileProfessional background in presentation design, visual design, graphic design, corporate design, marketing communications, or a related fieldExperience creating or reviewing polished business and client-facing materialsRelevant backgrounds may include management consulting, investment banking, in-house corporate design, agency work, or marketing communicationsStrong visual judgement across layout, spacing, typography, colour, hierarchy, and compositionAbility to identify subtle design inconsistencies that may be overlooked by non-designersStrong understanding of what makes professional business deliverables visually effectiveAble to articulate design decisions clearly in writingStrong attention to detailGenuine interest in both the content and presentation quality of professional workEngagement DetailsPart-time independent contractor engagementFully remoteApproximately 15 hours per weekCompensation: $55–$90/hourWork includes evaluation and refinement of presentation decks, documents, spreadsheets, and PDFsScreening includes a Corporate Design calibration assessment of approximately 45 minutesThe assessment focuses particularly on judgement of layout and spacing in professional deliverablesProjects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performanceWork must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third partyH1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagementAbout the PlatformThis opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
