Master Control Operator - Broadcast Operations

Job Summary
We are seeking a Master Control Operator to support a fast-paced Network Operations Center during a major broadcast systems migration. The ideal candidate will have experience in broadcast operations, master control, television production, or a production control room environment.
This position is responsible for maintaining on-air programming, monitoring multiple channel streams, managing playlists, supporting live events, and ensuring the highest level of broadcast quality.
Responsibilities
- Monitor on-air programming and broadcast channel streams.
- Perform quality control checks for audio, video, captions, and picture quality.
- Maintain and modify on-air playlists and execute programming and commercial changes.
- Support live events, commercial rehearsals, and contingency operations.
- Monitor programming continuity and ensure all media is ready for playout.
- Identify and respond quickly to on-air discrepancies.
- Support commercial break execution for live and recorded programming.
- Communicate programming changes clearly to production and operations teams.
- Work with broadcast automation platforms including SNELL Morpheus and Amagi.
- Collaborate with Operations Supervisors and other Master Control Operators.
- Follow Network Operations Center procedures and operational standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, relevant certification, Associate's Degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in broadcast, television, digital media, post-production, or production control.
- Understanding of television production and broadcast operations.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be available for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be willing to work fully onsite in Centennial, CO.
- Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
