Responsibilities

Contribute to development/maintenance of strategic publication plans and drive delivery for Rigel products.
Oversee manuscripts and conference abstracts/posters for each indication; ensure timelines are met.
Develop publication enhancements/content extenders (infographics, visual abstracts, slide kits, videos, digital assets).
Ensure Rigel-sponsored publications follow publication policy and good publication practice (e.g., GPP2022, ICMJE, CONSORT) and required documentation is logged (e.g., PubsHub).
Lead collaboration with biostatistics to identify/prioritize post-hoc analyses and data generation for Medical Affairs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biostatistics, clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory) and manage to internal/external deadlines.
Lead day-to-day interactions with publication agencies and support vendor selection.
Assist with financial/contractual aspects of assigned projects.
Participate in Publication Review Board (PRB) as needed; ensure medical accuracy and fair balance.
Develop publication KPIs and generate analytic reports; support congress strategy and medical booth content.
Support medical slide deck updates; expand therapeutic-area expertise; write QC data, check references, conduct literature searches.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in medical publications/communications (pharma or agency; pharma preferred).
Advanced scientific degree (Masters/Doctorate) preferred.
Hematology/Oncology required (Breast Cancer preferred).
Strong knowledge of good publication practice and guidelines (e.g., GPP2022, ICMJE, CONSORT); CMPP preferred.
Experience in strategic publication planning/execution.
Knowledge of regulations impacting medical communications, good clinical practice, and data management.
Excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects and track deadlines; strong Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Salary range: National $160,000–$195,000; Premium Market (SFBA/NYC/Boston) $180,000–$215,000.
