InnoVision is seeking a motivated Jr. Publicist to join our PR team. In this role, you’ll help develop brand strategies through public relations by generating and pitching content and new ideas that create standout PR opportunities for our clients and company.

What You’ll Do

Keep and update calendars (editorial, press conferences, events, etc.) and media lists

Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions

Assist in organizing and executing events and campaigns

Conduct research to support PR planning

Draft and distribute content such as newsletters and press releases

Support relationships with stakeholders, media, vendors, and other partners

Assist in tracking, reporting, and presenting media coverage and PR metrics (e.g., web analytics)

Identify ways to streamline communication and plan execution

Maintain digital clipbooks for brand partners and create PR reports for each project

Support marketing, writing, and interpersonal relationships with media, vendors, influencers, bloggers, and journalists

Assist in creating and updating media lists

Provide general account support, including on smaller client accounts

Develop and maintain a library of current reference materials

Review copy against department style guides, proofread, and edit — with attention to copyright details like trademarks and country of origin

Handle general administrative and clerical duties

What We’re Looking For

B.A. in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field preferred

1–2 years of writing experience in advertising, PR, or a related field preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and editing skills

Strong copywriting and proofreading/editing abilities

Familiarity with multiple media platforms

Great organizational skills and the ability to multitask

A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Customer/client-focused approach and thoroughness in your work
